Who can relate? 😅

Praying someone would talk to me so I could stop standing there awkwardly but also praying they wouldn’t because words are hard. Or I wouldn’t be able to STOP talking. Then I’d play back everything I said later and cringe.

Then I’d need like 3 days of alone time to recover.

Healing my social anxiety was an unintended consequence of working on my wounds in general. I kind of just went to a gathering one day and felt fine and was like 😮

I love seeing all the ways this work, works.

We have been conditioned to believe we need to do

We have been conditioned to believe we need to do everything on our own or it isn’t valid.

Or we aren’t worthy.

It’s like we have to prove to ourselves, the world, our parents and everyone that doubted us or left us hanging that we don’t NEED them.

And so we reject the idea of support. We reject coaching that could 10x the speed of healing our wounds and pain.

I know because I’ve been there. I’ve hustled for my worth when it came to my business and I rejected support because I didn’t “need” ANYBODY.

Well I was wrong. We ALL need each other. We need support. We need guidance. We need to be understood and we need space held for us.

And once I allowed it in— it felt scary at first, but it was like a dam opened up and a whole new life flooded in.

I can’t imagine a life NOT investing in coaching and surrounding myself with supportive humans doing similar work on themselves.

What a lonely way to be.

I know this is true— you my friend DESERVE to be supported. It’s not invalid or cheating to have someone guide you. You are not less than. If anything it takes a LOT to admit you need help and to ask for it.

Let’s stop looping inside of our trauma responses and start making moves to better ourselves— for us and everyone we love.

Working on your personal growth is the most important thing you will ever do.

If you have time for work and the demands of others— but can’t seem to scrape together any time for yourself— then you are doing this whole thing backwards.

The more you pour into yourself, the more you can flow into others AND have space left over.

If you don’t have the time, it’s up to you to MAKE the time. Yes it can be uncomfortable, disruptive to your routine and requires effort!

But in my world, 90 minutes a week changes entire lives.

Stop saying you don’t have time— and start taking the action to make it.

You CAN do this.
