Hello friends! If you don’t know who I am, my name is Chrystal Rose and I am a multi-faceted unicorn and a fierce advocate for self-love, women empowerment (the real kind) and mental + physical health.
As far as my business endeavors go, I fell in love with marketing in 2005 when I stumbled upon a promotional modeling job in Key West. It set me on a path after I vowed to own my own business one day and 7 years later at the end of 2012, I did just that. 10 months later, I became a co-owner of an online women’s magazine called The Indie Chicks. In 2015, after having been on my fitness journey for a couple of years, I walked away from both businesses so that I could launch Rebellia, an online clothing store for women with muscles and curves.
My fitness journey started after being sick and tired of yo-yo dieting and running on the treadmill like a hamster in a desperate, never-ending quest to be skinny. I stumbled into a CrossFit gym, began to lift and educate myself on nutrition so that I could finally break free from the obsession. My passion evolved into wanting to help others find the same freedom and so I became certified to nutrition coach a couple of years ago as well as obtained a CFL-1 and CrossFit Kids cert. I currently coach 1:1 flexible dieting to a small group of clients and will be expanding & simplifying my offerings to busy business owners in the beginning of 2020.
I have always been a writer. As a child and teen, I wrote mostly fiction. In 2008 I started my first blog about dating & relationships. I then evolved into writing personal development blogs both for The Indie Chicks and later my own blog again, Hey Little Rebel. I have two published books and my 3rd will be released sometime in 2020. I currently write a weekly newsletter called Self-Love Sunday to share my personal self-love journey.
Mental Message is a nonprofit in the mental health space. I am working to build an app that will send uplifting, positive messages to people struggling with their mental health. This spawned out of my own mental health battle, along with discovering the mental illness of family members and losing far too many people I know personally to overdose or suicide. People are struggling and need help, I want to help them.
I hope when taking a look around the site you find something that makes you glad you stopped by.
